Lemon Coffee Cake
|Biscuit mix||4 Cup (64 tbs) (Packaged)|
|Brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Melted butter||6 Tablespoon|
|Lemon peel||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
Combine the biscuit mix, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and spices in a bowl and mix well.
Combine the milk, egg and 1/4 cup butter.
Add to dry ingredients and beat for 30 seconds.
Mix remaining brown sugar, lemon peel and walnuts.
Pour half the batter into a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
Drizzle with 1 tablespoon butter and sprinkle with half the walnut mixture.
Bake in 350-degree oven for about 35 minutes or until done.
