Two Fruit Shortcakes
|Packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Raspberries/Strawberry halves / blueberries||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Firm bananas||2 Large, sliced|
|Angel food cake slice/Pound cake slices||4|
|Angel food cake slices/Pound cake slices||4|
|Whipped cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in 4-cup measure; stir in orange juice and water. Microwave uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute, until boiling. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour or until cool.
2. Fold raspberries and bananas into orange sauce. Spoon over cake slices; top each with 1 tablespoon of whipped cream.
