Apple Bran Spice Cake

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed dark brown sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Black walnut extract 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Soda 3 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped pared apples 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Bran cereal flakes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped pitted prunes 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Ready To Eat)
Directions

Microwave butter in a 2-cup glass measure at HIGH 1 minute.
Combine brown sugar and melted butter.
Beat in eggs, vanilla, and black walnut extract.
Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and ginger.
Alternately stir dry ingredients and milk into egg mixture.
Blend in apples, cereal, and prunes.
Pour cake batter into a microwave plastic fluted tube pan.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH 14 minutes.
Rotate pan 1/4 turn at 4 minute intervals.
Cover cake with waxed paper.
Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
