Rang Biranga Cake
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cherries||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped|
|Vanilla essence||1⁄3 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Walnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), crushed|
|Chocolate powder||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Pink food color||3 Drop|
Beat sugar and eggs together.
Add butter and flour and mix thoroughly.
Add sieved baking powder.
Divide into three parts.
To one, add vanilla essence and walnuts.
To the second, add chocolate.
To the third, add cherries and a few drops of pink colour.
In a suitable greased cake mould, drop spoonfuls of the three mixtures alternately till all batter is exhausted.
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes, or till done.
Turn out and cool.
