Pineapple Upside Down Cake
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cake flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pineapple slices in syrup||1 Can (10 oz)|
Drain out pineapple from the can & keep the pineapple syrup aside.In a baking tray melt butter when you are preheating it at 375 degree F.Spread brown sugar over melted butter & arrange pineapple slices over it in the pan.
Make the batter for cake,add flour,sugar,baking powder,softened butter,salt,egg(beaten),milk,vanilla & 2 tablespoon of the pineapple syrup.
Pour this batter over the pineapples that you have already arranged in the baking dish.Bake at 375 degree F,bake the cake till it turns brown.Once done let it stand for a while & then take it out upside down on the cake plate.
Serve it either warm or cold.I prefer it warm.
