Exotic Strawberry Shortcake
|Sponge cake||1 (Victoria Sponge)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄2 Pint|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Fresh strawberries||16 Ounce (2 Baskets)|
Let the victoria sponge cake cool, then whip the cream with the sugar and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
Wash and clean the strawberries and allow them to drain.
Mash half of the strawberries and fold them into the mixture.
Ice each portion with the strawberry and cream whip, then top with whole strawberries and serve immediately.
