Lemon Gourmet Cake
|Dairy sour cream||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Creamy lemon frosting mix||14 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Lemon cake mix||18 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
Refrigerate sour cream and frosting mix in small mixer bowl at least 2 hours.
Bake cake mix in 2 square layer pans as directed on package.
Blend butter and sour cream mixture; beat on low speed 1 minute.
Do not overbeat or mixture may become thin.
Fill layers and frost top of cake.
