Baba Au Rum

Ingredients
  Yeast 1⁄2 Ounce
  Sugar 3 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lukewarm water/Lukewarm milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 4 , slightly beaten
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Or A Little More For A Soft Dough)
  Butter 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), softened
Directions

Mix yeast, sugar, salt, and water together until yeast is dissolved.
Add remaining ingredients and beat well for 8 minutes.
Cover and allow to rise for about 40 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Stir down and beat in butter.
Butter a 9" ring mold or 2 dozen smaller ones.
Fill half full, and let rise.
Bake in a 400° oven for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking until cakes are golden brown in color.
Dip into Rum Syrup and top with whipped cream.
