Easy Day Chocolate Cake
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Easy day frosting||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine flour and sugar; set aside.
Combine butter, cocoa, and water in a small skillet; bring to a boil and add to flour mixture.
Stir well by hand.
Do not use an electric mixer.
Combine buttermilk, soda, eggs, and vanilla.
Add to flour mixture and mix thoroughly.
Spoon batter into a greased and floured 13- x 9- x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Prepare Easy Day Frosting 5 minutes before cake is done; frost cake while hot.
