Pineapple Glazed Cake
|Cake mix||18 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package, Yellow / White)|
|Canned crushed pineapple||13 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sweetened whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Bake cake mix in oblong pan, 13 X 9 X 2 inches, as directed on package.
In small saucepan, heat pineapple (with syrup) and sugar to boiling.
With sharp knife, mark 1-inch squares on cake, cutting 1/2 inch deep.
Spoon hot pineapple mixture over hot cake.
