Classic Last Minute Shortcake
|Unsifted all purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sweetened fruit||1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Whipped cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large mixing bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Measure milk in small bowl and beat in egg. Blend into flour mixture. Spoon into 4 or 5 individual glass custard cups.
2. Microwave on SIMMER for 3 minutes.
