Ingredients
  Cornmeal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1
Directions

Combine cornmeal and salt.
Stir in water; cool.
Divide mixture into 8 portions (about 1/3 cup each).
Shape each portion into a 3-inch round patty.Fry over medium heat on well-greased griddle, turning to brown both sides, about 7 minutes per side.
