Chocolate Nut Loaf

  Soft butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 5 , well beaten
  Pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely broken
  Unsweetened chocolate square 3 Ounce, melted and cooled (3 Pieces)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), sifted
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Buttermilk/Sour milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Creamy mocha icing 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole pecans 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour two 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Cream butter until fluffy.
Add sugar gradually, beating constantly.
Beat in eggs.
Stir in nuts, chocolate and vanilla.
Sift flour, salt and soda together and add alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
Spoon batter into prepared pans and bake 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the centre comes out clean.
Turn out on racks and cool.
Ice with Creamy Mocha Icing and decorate with whole pecans.
