Ingredients
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda bicarbonate 2 Pinch
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Milk powder 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 80 Gram (5 Tablespoon)
  Nutmeg powder 1 Pinch
  Powdered sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Approximately)
Directions

Sift together flour, Soda-bicarb, baking powder, salt and milk powder.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add nutmeg and essence.
Add dry ingredients, 2 tablespoons at a time, alternately with milk.
Stir only enough after each addition to blend thoroughly.
The batter should be of drooping consistency.
Add extra milk if necessary.
Pour the batter in a greased and floured tin, 8" x 8" and 2 inch deep and bake in a moderate oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
Invert on a cooling rack.
Cool.
Garnish and frost as desired.
