Frosted Applesauce Cake
|Unsweetened thick apple sauce||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter/Other shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Bram's)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Nut meats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Put shortening, sugar, and raisins into hot apple sauce.
When cool, add spices, salt, flour, and soda.
Mix, then add chopped nuts.
Turn into greased bread pan (loaf) for loaf cake or 9" x 9" cake pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Cover with the following frosting:
