Wild Strawberry Shortcake

  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Light cream 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Strawberries 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Whipped cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)

Sift together first 4 ingredients.
Cut in butter.
Add egg and cream.
Stir until moistened.
Turn dough onto lightly floured board.
Knead gently 1 minute, roll out dough then cut into rounds with biscuit cutter.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 450°F.10 minutes.
Split while warm and fill with berries which have been mixed with 2 Tbsp.sugar.
Top with whipped cream.
