Fresh Apple Cake With Brown Sugar

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs), firmly packed
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Sifted flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Baking soda 2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Coffee 1 Cup (16 tbs), cold
  Walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Peeled and diced apples 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Cream together 2 c. brown sugar and butter until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cloves and 1 tsp.cinnamon.
Add dry ingredients alternately with the coffee, blending well.
Add apples, raisins and walnuts.
Spread in greased 13x9x2" baking pan.
Combine sugar, 1/4 c.brown sugar, 1/2 tsp.cinnamon and nuts; blend well.
Sprinkle topping on batter and gently press into batter.
Bake in 350° oven 45 minutes or until done.
