Cider Cake

Ingredients
  Cake flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Shortening 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Cider 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs.
Mix cider and lemon juice; add alternately with dry ingredients.
Bake in three greased 8" layer cake pans at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Cool.
Fill and frost with cider filling and icing.
