Apple Pecan Cake

Ingredients
  Shortening 6 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  White sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), broken
  Melted butter 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream brown sugar, white sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat until light.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, and mix just until blended.
Fold in apple.
Spread batter in oiled 8x8 pan; sprinkle with brown sugar and nutmeats.
Drizzle melted butter over all.
Bake at 350 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
