Buttermilk Pound Cake
|Shortening||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon extract||1 Teaspoon|
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add next 3 ingredients.
Add buttermilk, vanilla and lemon extract.
Stir until batter is fairly smooth.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
Bake in a preheated 325° oven for 45 minutes or until done.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes.
