A Very Good Pound Cake
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened (2 Sticks)|
|Eggs||7 (At Room Temperature)|
|Cake flour||3 Cup (48 tbs), sifted twice|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Orange flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
|Coconut flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
|Almond flavor||1 Teaspoon (May Use Any Combination As Per Taste)|
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and flavorings well.
Stir in flour and cream alternately; mix well.
Pour into prepared 10-inch tube pan.
Place in cold oven and bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.
Check with toothpick at 60 minutes.
This cake keeps well in sealed container.
