Top Me Twice Cake

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Crushed pineapple can 13 1⁄2 Ounce, undrained
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flaked coconut 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Combine sugar, vanilla extract and eggs in large mixer bowl.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer.
At low speed add flour, salt, soda and pineapple; mix 1 minute.
Pour into greased 12 x 8-inch 1 pan.
Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar, coconut and pecans.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
If topping browns too fast, cover with foil during last 10 minutes of baking.
Just before cake is done, prepare Sauce.
Pour over warm cake.
Cool before serving.
