Banana Honey Nut Cake
|Butter||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Honey||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Bananas||4 Medium, mashed|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole wheat pastry flour||3 1⁄8 Cup (50 tbs)|
|Yogurt||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350° F.and grease 3 8-inch layer-cake pans.
Cream butter, add honey, and beat until smooth and light.
Add eggs one by one, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Add bananas and nuts.
Mix flour, soda, and salt and sift into mixture.
Stir in yogurt and vanilla.
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Cool layers slightly, then remove from pans and cool completely.
Fill and ice with WHITE FROSTING or LEMON ICING
