Nana S Chocolate Cake
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Cocoa||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Hot water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1 Pound (For Making Frosting, 1 Box)|
|Butter stick/Margarine||1 (For Making Frosting)|
|Cocoa||4 Tablespoon (For Making Frosting)|
|Milk||7 Tablespoon (For Making Frosting)|
|Vanilla||1 Teaspoon (For Making Frosting)|
Cake: Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
Sift flour 3 times, adding salt, soda and baking powder to last sift.
In another bowl, beat together eggs, sugar and butter.
Beat until fluffy.
Add the dry ingredients, then add buttermilk, hot water and vanilla.
Pour into prepared pans and bake until toothpick comes out clean.
Frosting: Mix all ingredients together and apply to cake
