Quick And Easy Pound Cake
|Yellow cake mix||18 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Instant lemon flavored pudding mix||18 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Ground mace||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||6 Tablespoon (10 X Sugar)|
1. Combine cake mix, lemon pudding mix, mace, eggs, oil and water in the; large bowl of electric mixer.
2. Beat at low speed to blend; increase speed to medium; beat 2 minutes, or until batter is thick and creamy. Pour , into a well greased and floured 12-cup ; fluted tube pan or a greased and ; floured 9-inch angel cake tube pan.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 50 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly touched with fingertip. Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes. Loosen around edge and tube with a narrow spatula. Turn out onto wire rack; cool completely. Sprinkle with 10X sugar just before serving. Top with cherry ice cream, if you wish.
