Ingredients
  Oil 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Cocoa 1 Teaspoon
  Red food color 2 Ounce
  Cake flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butternut flavoring 1 Teaspoon (McCormick Brand)
Directions

Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs and beat well.
Mix cocoa and food coloring together, then add to sugar mixture.
Sift flour, salt and soda.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Add flavoring.
Bake in 3 (9-inch) round pans for 35 minutes at 350°.
