Chocolate Cherry Cake
|Chocolate cake mix||18 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Box)|
|Canned cherries||21 Ounce, thickened (1 Can, For The Pie)|
|Almond extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Milk chocolate chips||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
For the cake:
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a spoon.
Pour the mixture in a greased cake tin.
Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
For the icing
Combine sugar, milk and butter; bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chip pieces.
Pour over warm cake.
Leave to set for an hour and then refrigerate till serving time.
