Magic Macaroon Cake

Ingredients
  Buttercream 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Fudge macaroon frosting mix 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Instant eggnog crystals 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Chopped walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Grease and flour bottoms of two 8-inch round layer pans.
Combine all ingredients except walnuts in large mixer bowl.
Blend well; beat 3 minutes at medium speed of mixer.
Stir in walnuts.
Pour batter into pans.
Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool; frost.
