Plum Good Cake
|Unsifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Strained plums with tapioca||9 1⁄2 Ounce (2 Jars, 4 3/4 Ounce Each, Gerber)|
|Red food coloring||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped black walnuts/Other nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix all ingredients at one time with electric beater until eggs are well mixed.
Pour into greased Bundt or tube cake pan.
Bake in preheated 300°F oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until sides of cake pull away from pan.
Remove cake from pan while still hot.
Frost while hot.
Frosting: 1 cup confectioners sugar combined with 1 Tbs.
lemon juice (will be quite thick).
Let cool before serving.
