Glorified Egg Shortcake
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped onions/Chives||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pimiento||1 Tablespoon|
|Celery||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Green peas||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Cooked/Canned)|
|Hard cooked eggs||3 , quartered|
|Rolled biscuits||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|American cheese/Cheddar cheese||3 Tablespoon, grated|
Melt butter; blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth; remove from heat.
Slowly stir in milk.
Bring to a boil over direct heat, stirring constantly.
Boil 1 min.
Just before serving, stir in rest of ingredients except Biscuits and cheese.
Bring mixture just to a boil.
