Jeweled Fruit Cake
|Unsifted flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Sweetened condensed milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Not Evaporated Milk)|
|Green candied cherries||8 Ounce, halved (1 Container)|
|Red candied cherries||8 Ounce, halved (1 Container)|
|Dried apricots||6 Ounce, chopped (1 Package)|
|Candied pineapple||6 Ounce, chopped (1 Container)|
|Chopped pecans||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube or fluted tube pan.
Combine flour and baking soda.
In large bowl, beat eggs.
Stir in remaining ingredients; blend in flour mixture.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 1 hour and 30 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
