Rum Meringue Cake

Ingredients
  Egg whites 6
  Berry sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Egg yolks 6
  Salt To Taste
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemons juice 6 Tablespoon
  Lemon rind 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Beat egg whites very stiff.
Add sugar and other ingredients slowly.
Put mixture into two layer cake tins.
Bake at 275° F.
These are better made the day before needed.
Cook in double boiler.
Cool.
This is very thick.
Thin with whipped cream.
Add rum to taste.
Put between meringue layers.
Ice with whipped cream and decorate with cherries or nuts.
