Cinnamon-Sour Cream Coffee Cake
|Sugar||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Pint|
|Regular all purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Walnut meats||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), finely chopped (combined with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar)|
In the large bowl of your electric mixer, combine the butter, sugar, and eggs.
Beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Blend in the sour cream.
Sift flour, measure, and sift with soda and baking powder into the creamed mixture; add vanilla.
Spoon half of the batter into a 9-inch tube pan or 10-inch bundt pan which has been buttered and floured (batter will be quite thick).
Sprinkle half of cinnamon-nut mixture over batter.
Spoon in remaining batter and top with rest of nut mixture.
Place in a cold oven, set oven at 350°, and bake about 55 minutes.
