Combine flour, soda, cream of tartar, walnuts and chocolate morsels in a large bowl; mix well, and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in container of an electric blender; process at medium speed 20 seconds.
Stir into flour mixture, mixing well.
Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on a wire rack.
