Fresh Apple Upside Down Cake
|Apples||6 , peeled, cored and sliced thin|
|Powdered sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Yellow cake mix||18 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Box)|
Use iron skillet or square bread pan.
Cover sides and bottom with nonstick spray.
Place apples in pan and cover bottom real good with apples.
Sprinkle apples with cinnamon.
Now, cover apples with powdered sugar, about 1/4 inch thick.
Pour pecans over powdered sugar, about 1/4 inch thick.
Pour in cake mix (be sure to mix cake mix as directed on cake mix box).
Place in oven and bake as directed on cake mix box.
Turn out on serving dish while hot.
