|Castor sugar||4 Ounce|
|Self rising flour||6 Ounce|
|Fruit salad||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cream together the margarine and sugar.
Add the egg and sieved flour.
Divide the mixture between two 7 inch lightlv greased and floured sandwich tins.
Flatten the mixture with very slightly damped fingers.
Bake for about 20 minutes at 400°F.€”Gas Mark 5.
Turn out and when cold, sandwich together and decorate with whipped cream and chopped canned fruit salad.
