Yogurt Cake

Yogurt Cake is a very easy to prepare delicious dessert recipe. Enjoy this amazingly prepared mouth watering Yogurt Cake; I am sure you would love to share your experience with me.
Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Eggs 2
  Yogurt 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)
Directions

Cream butter and sugar together.
Beat in eggs.
Sift flour, soda, and salt together and add to butter mixture alternately with the yogurt.
Turn batter into a greased 10X 14 inch pan or an angel food pan and bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
Remove from oven and pour cool syrup over the hot cake.
Yield: 30 pieces Syrup: Combine 2 3/4 cups water and 1 3/4 cups sugar.
Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.
Cool.
