This Rhubarb Cake is one of the most delicious fares that you can have for a snack or dessert. Just try out this Rhubarb Cake for your next meal and let me know if you like it.
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon, dissolved in 1 cup milk|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Dissolving The Baking Soda)|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped rhubarb||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Raw)|
Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk; add rhubarb.
Spread into large square pan; sprinkle with topping: 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 tsp. butter 1 tsp. cinnamon.
Bake at 350° 30 minutes.
