|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Warm water||3 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla extract/Lemon extract||1 Teaspoon|
Beat the eggs until creamy.
Add sifted sugar gradually and continue to beat.
Add water and flavoring and beat a few minutes longer.
Sift flour, add salt and baking powder and sift again.
A little at a time, combine dry ingredients with the egg mixture folding in gently.
When well blended, pour into ungreased tube pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for fifty minutes.
