Vanilla Pound Cake
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sifted cake flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each addition.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Add vanilla; beat thoroughly.
Bake in greased loaf pan in 350Â°F oven 1 to 11/4 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes.
Turn out onto rack; cool completely
