An Eggless Chocolate Cake, Filled with Chopped Chocolate, partially cooked, makes an exotic warm gooey molten choco lava cake..
I tried my hands just cause it was a request from a viewer.. Loved the results.. It was phenomenal.. Though had to experiment a couple of times!
Flour | 3/8 Cup (6 tbs) | |
Butter | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Cocoa | 1/8 Cup (2 tbs) (Approx) | |
Yogurt | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Baking soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Baking powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Chocolate | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped into chunks, coated with flour. (As required) |
GETTING READY
Start by preheating oven to 180 C.
MAKING
Sift the Cocoa, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Flour.
Into another mixing bowl add butter and sugar, beat this well for 3-5 min. Once these have creamed well, add in half of the yogurt.
Mix and add half of the sifted mixture. Add rest half of the yogurt and rest of the flour mix.
Pipe the batter into greased moulds. Coat the chocolate with flour and place them generously in the molds. Pipe more batter on top and and refrigerate for minimum 30 mins.
Bake at 220 C for 8 mins in a preheated oven.
After Baking, Loosen the edges, flip over in a plate.
SERVING
8. Serve the choco lava cake hot. Garnish with a topping of your choice.
