Hot Banana Shortcake
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Bananas||3 , peeled and quartered (Green Tipped Bananas)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Pound cake slices||4 (1 Inch Each Slice)|
|Vanilla ice cream/Dairy sour cream||2 Tablespoon|
Melt butter in foilware pan over hot coals.
Add bananas, drizzle with lemon juice, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Cook until bananas are just soft, spooning the syrup over now and then.
Meanwhile, on the grill, toast cake slices on both sides.
To serve, spoon bananas and syrup over the warm cake slices.
Top with scoops of vanilla ice cream or dollops of sour cream.
