Scalloped Cabbage with Cheese
|Cabbage head||1 Small|
|Cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs), grated|
|Medium white sauce||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Bread crumbs||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
1.Start by preheating the oven to 400F degrees
2.Also wash the cabbage and cut into quarters
3.Boil in salted water till tender.
4.Drain the cabbage
5.Into a greased baking-dish, put a layer of cabbage, then a layer of cheese, then a layer of white sauce, and continue to add layers until the ingredients are all used.
6.Cover the top of the mixture with the crumbs, which may be mixed with a little melted butter
7. Bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes, or until the crumbs are brown.
8.Serve with a sauce of your choice or with any appetizer
