Boiled Cabbage

Directions

Remove outer leaves of cabbage, and cut head into quarters, shred, or chop.
Cook in saucepan with water to cover and 3/4 tsp. salt.
Cook uncovered until cabbage is tender, about 10 minutes for young cabbage, as much as 20 minutes for old drain.
Serve with salt, pepper, and butter.
