Beet and Cabbage Relish
|Beets||4 Cup (64 tbs), peeled, chopped and cooked|
|Green cabbage||4 Cup (64 tbs), shredded|
|Fresh horseradish||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Red pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|White pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|Powdered mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Cider vinegar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1) In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients together, mix thoroughly.
2) Cook over a low medium-heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3) In hot sterilized jars, spoon this 2 quarts relish and seal the jars.
4) Use the Beet and Cabbage Relish as required.
