Sweet And Sour Cabbage
|Red cabbage||1 Kilogram|
|Butter or margarine||50 Gram|
|Red wine vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable stock||1 Pinch|
Cut the cabbage in quarters, remove the hard core and shred the cabbage finely.
Melt the butter or margarine in a flameproof dish.
Add the cabbage toss in the butter or margarine and cook gently for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix-together well.
Cover and cook in a moderate oven (160°C, 325°F, Gas Mark 3) for about 1 hour.
