|Chopped beef||3⁄4 Pound|
|Bacon drippings||3 Teaspoon|
|Cooked rice||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Onion||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, minced|
|Grated processed cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomato sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Scald cabbage leaves in boiling water.
Brown chopped beef in bacon drippings in a skillet.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Combine rice, beef, salt, pepper, green pepper, onion and cheese.
Place about 1/3 cup of mixture on each cabbage leaf.
Place rolls side by side in shallow baking dish.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Bake, basting occasionally, at 3500 for about 40 minutes.
