Cabbage With Caraway

Ingredients
  Margarine 1 Teaspoon
  Cabbage head 1⁄2 Pound (1 Piece)
  Chicken consomme/1 sachet chicken bouillon cube 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Caraway seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, minced
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon, freshly ground
  Salt To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Slice a part of the tough cabbage head core so that it can be balanced on a flat surface.
2) Slice 1 1/2-inch thick wedges out of the cabbage head.

MAKING
3) In a skillet, melt margarine, add cabbage wedges, parsley, sugar, chicken consumme, salt, black pepper and saute well.
4) Place a lid on the skillet and cook the cabbage on medium flame for about 12 minutes.
5) Let the juices soak the cabbage well before adding the caraway seeds.
6) Cook for another minute before turning off the flame.

SERVING
7) Plate the cabbage on a platter and pour the juices over the top.
8) Serve hot as a side dish.
