Creamed Cabbage

Ingredients
  Green cabbage head 1
  Onion 1⁄2 Small, grated
  Creamy white sauce 1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. Remove the outer leaves, the ones that are dark green in colour, of the cabbage and wash then thoroughly
2. Shred them, dicarding any hard cores and add to a pan of hot salted water
3. Cook for fifteen minute and add shredded white cabbage; cook for another five minutes and drain it all well in a colander
4. Add the cabbage back to tha pan, add grated onion and just enough white sauce to coat the cabbage; season

SERVING
5. Serve hot
