|Green cabbage head||1 Small, shredded (Cored)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Caraway seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Diluted consomme||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Put shredded cabbage in large saucepan.
Sprinkle cabbage with flour, salt, and caraway seeds.
Heat butter with consomme and pour hot mixture over cabbage.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until cabbage is tender.
Stir in vinegar and sugar.
